Augsburg College  Accounting Major
                                          Department of Business Administration


The major in accounting prepares students for professional careers in a wide variety of accounting related positions. This major has two tracks: General Accounting and Professional Accounting.  Each of the accounting specializations requires completion of a 14 course Accounting core.  Two additional courses beyond the core provide the emphasis for the specialization in Public Accounting and in Managerial Accounting.  Click here for a printable Accounting major worksheet.

    - basis for professional designation of Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant
